Six-month follow-up of the injured trauma survivor screen

Drs. Josh Hunt and Terri deRoon-Cassini recently published a manuscript titled “Six-month follow-up of the injured trauma survivor screen: Clinical implications and future directions” in the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. This work provides more information on a stable screening tool, the injured trauma survivor screen (ITSS), based on six-month outcomes of individuals admitted to a Level 1 trauma center. This work follows from Drs. Hunt and deRoon-Cassini’s work showing utility of the ITSS as a screen for PTSD and depression risk at one-month after traumatic injury.
