Dr. Jacklynn Fitzgerald was awarded a National Research Service Award

Dr. Jacklynn Fitzgerald was awarded a National Research Service Award (NRSA) from the National Institute of Mental Health, titled “Endocannabinoids and Fear Extinction as Predictors of Acute, Chronic, and Changes to PTSD Symptoms in Traumatic Injury”. The training grant will investigate whether neurocircuitry of fear regulation moderates the relationship between endocannabinoids and acute posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), (2-weeks after trauma), chronic PTSD (12-months after trauma), and changes to PTSD symptoms over 12- months.
