Kaylen Vine is a Clinical Psychology PhD candidate at Marquette University and serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator for MTOP. Her research centers on the experiences of marginalized racial and ethnic populations, exploring themes of identity, mental health disparities, and the impacts of structural oppression, particularly in the context of trauma. Kaylen is dedicated to understanding culturally specific challenges and leveraging community assets to promote mental health, with a focus on interventions and support systems that extend beyond traditional clinical settings. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing and drawing upon the inherent strengths of marginalized communities to foster resilience and well-being.
