Graduate Research Assistant

Farah is a Clinical Psychology PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She's interested in understanding how early experiences of childhood adversity interact with later trauma to impact functioning and recovery in adulthood - at a neurobiological, behavioral, and psychological level. She is also interested in exploring intergenerational trauma, particularly in how risk and resilience factors are passed between generations. A final important consideration in her work is investigating how minoritized individuals' lived experiences uniquely contribute to their well-being in the context of acute and chronic trauma exposure.
