Parisi

Liz is a graduate student in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Clinical Psychology program. She is interested in understanding the neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying reactions to threat and trauma, and their role in the development of internalizing symptoms.

In her graduate research, she is using functional brain imaging and behavioral measures to investigate the role of threat uncertainty in the development of maladaptive avoidance, and how these factors may interact to maintain anxiety.
