Francesca is a post-baccalaureate clinical research assistant for a project investigating early predictors of risks for disorders, such as PTSD following a traumatic event. She additionally participates in other projects within the MTOP team.Her main goal is to obtain a PhD and work as a health psychologist in a medical setting within an urban population. Her research interests revolve broadly around the areas of posttraumatic stress, general anxiety disorder, and depression. She is passionate about exploring the effectiveness of treatments and interventions within these diagnoses. Within this realm, she hopes to further her research in exploring pain management and the different interplays of physiology and emotion.
